29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) New residential Apartment construction located at The Hamilton, 1801 Hamilton Rd, Lot #110-#115, LaGrange, GA 30241, Front Roof: On or about 04/14/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet, 11-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in roofing activities on a 12/12 pitched roof. Brothers Construction GA, LLC, Inc was cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686401, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/13/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 50 Salem Chase Way, Bldg 300, Conyers, GA 30013.
