29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tank cars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: Liquified Petroleum Gas Storage Area: On April 15, 2025, the employer did not ensure that three propane tanks in the forklift staging area were properly secured to prevent falling or tipping over. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to struck-by hazard(s). Notice 1, Item 1, 29 CFR 1910.101(b) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): The employer failed to store six MAPP flammable gas cylinders in a secured area to avoid them from being struck or damaged. The employer was cited for a violation of the standard on 07/19/2023, Inspection 1678411, date 08/11/2023 of final order/settlement and means of abatement. Notice 1, Item 4, 29 CFR 1910.101(b) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): The employer failed to store four MAPP flammable gas cylinders in a secured area to avoid them from being struck or damaged. The employer was cited for a violation of the same standard on 06/16/2023, Inspection 1675835, date 08/11/2023 of final order/settlement and means of abatement.
