29 CFR 1926.600(a)(5):All cab glass shall be safety glass, or equivalent, that introduces no visible distortion affecting the safe operation of any machine covered by this subpart. On or about April 24, 2025, at the worksite located at 3100 Ams Boulevard Green Bay, Wisconsin; the employer did not ensure that equipment cab glass on the Caterpillar 312DL, operating during the demolition of the five story office building on site, did not introduce visible distortion that affected the safe operation of the machine. The glass was cracked and impaired the operator's view of the area of operation.
