29 CFR 1926.502(i)(3): All covers were not secured when installed so as to prevent accidental displacement by the wind, equipment, or employees: a) On or about 4/15/2025 at a commercial construction site located at 4200 Ridge Lea Road, Amherst, New York; an employee was struck by a piece of plywood placed over an excavated area as a cover. The plywood was not secured and was lifted by the wind striking the employee in the side of the face. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
