29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about April 21, 2025, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing commercial roofing operations, ten (10') feet five (5") inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. AR Discount Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1702076, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on November 22, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1105 Sharon Ln. Schaumburg, IL 60193. AR Discount Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1622659, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 16, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 7401 W Pauling Rd., Monee, IL 60449.
