29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) On or about April 22, 2025, on the upper level of the structure, employees worked without adequate fall protection while performing metal decking operations at heights at/greater than fifteen feet above the ground near an unprotected edge.

Vieyra Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1524223, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 7393 Hwy 44, Gonzales, LA 70737.
