OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. a) Vanguard Acquisition DBA Precision Steel Service, Inc. on or about April 24, 2025 at the location of 4044 Lagrange Street Toledo, Ohio: Employees tasked with utilizing overhead cranes with the below the hook magnetic lifting device(s) to handle structural steel in the burn bay, were exposed to struck by hazards in that the magnetic lifting device(s) were not adequately load tested and marked indicating rated load capacity for employee reference.
