29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):  Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:   a) On April 24, 2025, ladders used by employees to gain access to the working surface did not have side rails that extended at least 3 feet above the surface.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were the employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):  a) On April 24, 2025, company employees were engaged in framing carpentry and were not protected from fall hazards over approximately 23.9 feet .  BAX Construction Inc. dba BAX Drywall Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1669758, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 13, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 835 Lake St., Oak Park, IL 60301.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
