29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. On or about 29 April 2025, employees of Roto-Die Company, Inc. were exposed to amputation hazards by not providing adequate machine guards to protect from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips, and sparks. Inadequately guarded machines include, but are not limited to: a. Amada Horizontal Band Saw (Model HA400W; S/N 45650054) b. Dayton 17" Floor Model Drill Press (Model 55MJ87A; S/N 03200001) c. Clausing Drill Press (unknown model and S/N)
