29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms.  a- 232 Merseyside Drive, Woolwich Township NJ - A worker was exposed to fall hazards, of approximately 18 feet 9 inches and approximately 17 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold that was missing end stops and a mid rail/screen running the full length of the scaffold's walking/working surface.  Condition observed on or about 05/08/25.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.   a)  232 Merseyside Drive, Woolwich Township NJ: On or about 05/08/25 workers were exposed to fall hazards when improperly utilizing an A-framed ladder and when using a damaged aluminum extension ladder at the worksite. The employer did not provide each employee training on using ladders that would enable them to recognize and minimize hazards.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
