29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:   a) On May 9, 2025, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work on a residential home, approximately 13 feet and 7 inches above the ground below, were not secured to a personal fall arrest systems or other means of fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.    Don P Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1542933, citation 1, item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 31, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 735 Michigan Avenue in Wilmette, Illinois.  Don P Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1681812, citation 2, item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 4, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 821 Elmwood Avenue in Wilmette, Illinois.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
