29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Remodel construction located at The Willow Bend Shopping Centers, 300 Willow Bend Rd., Peachtree City, GA 30269, Front Roof: On or about 05/05/2025, the employer exposed an employee to fall hazards of 9-feet, 5 inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in sheathing and framing activities using the top plate as a walking working surface.
