29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   a) New commercial structure located at 1046 Braselton Village Parkway, Braselton, GA 30517: On or about 10/29/2024 and times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating tools including but not limited to pneumatic framing nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not worn while operating these tools at 150 P.S.I. engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.1051(a): Stairways or ladders were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided:  a) New commercial structure located at 1046 Braselton Village Parkway, Braselton, GA 30517: On or about 10/29/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards while accessing the 17-foot, 8-inch upper level in that workers were observed scaling the wooden framework and not using a ladder or other safe means of access.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a) New commercial structure located at 1046 Braselton Village Parkway, Braselton, GA 30517, Truss system: On or about 10/29/2024, the employer exposed employee to fall hazards of up to approximately 17- feet, 8-inches to the lower ground level, in that employees engaged in framing activities were wearing full body harnesses and not connected.  GEV Construction Services LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1785025, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/24/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 3770 Frances Circle, Alpharetta, GA 30004.
