29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On or about May 30, 2025, employees working on the Toaster Pastry Cooling Conveyor (Decline) , were exposed to a laceration / pinch hazard. The employer did not ensure the in-going nip point created by the decline conveyor was properly guarded, in-that employees were able to contact the in-going nip point on the conveyor belt.
