29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Protection was not provided by placing and keeping excavated or other materials or equipment at least 2 feet (.61m) from the edge of excavations, or by the use of retaining devices that were sufficient to prevent materials or equipment from falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: (a) 1119 Monocacy St. Bethlehem Pa 18018, in the rear, On or about July 1, 2025 and times prior to - employees working inside a trench, 58 inches deep, were not protected from materials or equipment falling or rolling into excavations. Employees were exposed to struck by hazard from falling rock and dirt at the edge of the excavation, that was not at least 2 feet (.61m) from the edge of excavation.
