29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a.) Liberty Restaurants Holdings dba Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, 4752 Commercial Drive, New Hartford, NY, 13413, on or about 7/16/2024; Employees were exposed to hazardous chemicals in the workplace including, but not limited to, Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant, QRS Restroom Cleaner, and QSR Heavy Duty Multipurpose Sink Detergent, and the employer did provide training at the time of their initial assignment on the hazardous chemicals in their work area. Liberty Restaurants Holdings dba Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1789962, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 1/29/2025, with respect to the workplace located at 4752 Commercial Drive, New Hartford, NY, 13413.
