29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access. On 8/7/2025 at the worksite located at 4401 S Ponderosa St., Columbia MO, employees conducting roofing work on the lower roof were exposed to fall hazards when the employer did not ensure that the ladder side rails extended at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access. San Felipe Builds LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1813137, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/24/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 1205 Brookhaven Drive, Edmond, OK.
