29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: a) On August 4, 2025 at Lot#5 Buffalo Rd, Frederica, DE : The employer failed to ensure that employees were attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. An employee was using an aerial lift to access the front of the building and unload materials to those employees working from the roof approximately 17 feet above concrete floor. The Nathan Beachy, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1602628, citation number 01001, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/02/2023, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 137 of Satterfield Development in Felton, DE 19943.
