29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): (a) On or about August 8, 2025, employees working on and around the Sheffield C-900 - Velcro Cutter (Model No. C-900 & Serial No. 11C04038) were exposed to an amputation hazard, in-that the employer did not ensure the exit chute was properly guarded to prevent the operator from reaching into the point of operation. (b) On or about August 8, 2025, employees working on and around the Sheffield C-530 - Velcro Cutter (Model No. C-530) were exposed to an amputation hazard, in-that the employer did not ensure the exit chute was properly guarded to prevent the operator from reaching into the point of operation.
