29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: (a) On or about August 21, 2025, employees engaged in painting operations utilized elastomeric respiratory protection (3M half mask) with facial hair that interfered with the seal and valve function. Talgo, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1751877, citation number 1, item number 2(d) and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 3533 North 27th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
