29 CFR  1910.110(f)(4)(i):The employer stored LP-Gas in a quantity exceeding 300 pounds (approximately 2550 cubic feet in vapor form) inside of a building:  (a) Gas Storage Room- 2700 South Clinton Ave, South Plainfield NJ 07080  On or about August 22, 2025, employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards because the employer stored approximately nine 67.8?pound and three 21.2?pound propane cylinders, totaling 673.8 pounds of propane, a liquefied petroleum gas (LP?Gas), inside a gas storage room within the facility. The LP?Gas containers were not stored in a special building or area that met the criteria in 29 CFR 1910.110(f)(5), which include, but are not limited to, 2?hour fire?rated construction, explosion?relieving construction, adequate ventilation, and electrical equipment meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.110(b)(18).
