29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. At a worksite located at 4304 SE Adams Drive, Blue Springs, MO, employees were exposed to struck by hazards to their eyes and faces. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize a pneumatic nail gun without the use of eye protection. Tito's Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1497247, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/27/2021, with respect to a workplace located at E 26th St and W Paseo Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108.

The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to perform framing work near fall hazards greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection.
