29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): At the establishment located at 1901 Indiana Ave, KC MO -- the employer had two employees clear brush from the back outside of the building. The employer also had the same employees burn the brush with the use of gasoline. The employer did not assess the job to determine what, if any PPE - personal protective equipment -- was needed. This resulted in an employee getting burns to his wrist and arm. This was documented on or about 9/5/2025.

This was documented on or about 9/5/2025.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): At a commercial worksite located at 1901 Indiana Ave KC MO -- two employees were clearing brush behind the building. The employees were using gasoline to ignite the brush on fire. The employer does not have a written hazard communication program in place. This resulted in an employee getting burns on his arm and not having the program in place to prohibit. This was documented on or about 9/5/2025.
