29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: A) Bakery Kitchen: The large floor Hobart mixer, used by employees to make dough for dinner rolls and whip egg whites to make chiffon, had rotating shafts and blades that were not guarded. Employees were exposed to rotating parts hazards and caught between hazards. B) Biba's Kitchen: A mid-sized Hobart mixer, used by employees to make mashed potatoes, had rotating shafts and blades that were not guarded. Employees were exposed to rotating parts hazards and caught between hazards.

Employees were exposed to electrical hazards.
