29 CFR 1910.29(f)(2): Finger clearance. The employer did not ensure that the minimum clearance between handrails and any other object is 2.25 inches (5.7 cm). On or about November 17, 2025, and at times prior thereto, employee(s) used various stair cases to access the basement and catwalks which had handrails that did not allow the employee(s) to fully grip the entire railing. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to trip/miss-step and/or fall hazard(s). In the following locations: a) East end staircase, from the bottom to the 7th step. b) West end staircase, next to the 3rd step from the top and 7th step from the bottom. c) Basement, next to catwalk for bays 3/4. d) Basement, next to catwalk for bays 1/2.
