29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by an employee who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: 84 Turnpike Drive, Middlebury CT: On or about November 17, 2025, the employer permitted the employee to wear a half face respirator with significant facial hair coming between the sealing surface and the face while exposed to a hazardous metal powder while performing tasks such as (but not limited to) thermal spraying.
