29 CFR  1926.451(e)(1):When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.  Crossbraces were used as a means of access.  LOCATION: The Scaffolding surrounding the CMU core; interior of building  On or about December 9th, 2025 OSHA observed workers utilizing the cross bracing and uprights of the scaffolding they were working on to travel to different elevations of the scaffold.

LOCATION: The Scaffolding surrounding the CMU core; interior of building  On or about December 9th, 2025 and on days prior employees were on the scaffolding at heights ranging from 10 to 70 feet above and active worksite below without fall protection.  The employer, Salguero Masonry Corp.,  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.451(g)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1781421, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 10, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 51 Belgrade Ave. in Roslindale, MA.
