29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2):Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: Throughout Store: On or about December 17, 2025, the employer did not ensure that the portable fire extinguishers on property were inspected at least monthly and appropriately documented. This potentially exposed employees to fire hazards. Notice #1643986, Item 1-1, 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): The employer failed to inspect the portable fire extinguishers at least monthly and document it either digitally or manually. The employer was cited for a violation of the 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2) on 02-07-2023, Inspection #1643986, date 03/01/2023 of final order, and means of abatement.
