29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  At the temporary jobsite located at 4818 N Saker, Wichita, KS 67219, Employees engaged in residential roofing activities with the use of pneumatic nail guns were exposed to struck-by hazards, in that eye protection was not utilized.  Claudio Navarrete was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1783214, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 02-05-2025, with respect to a workplace located at 606 Sweetwater Circle, Maize KS 67101.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  At the temporary jobsite located at 4818 N Saker, Wichita, KS 67219, Employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet 11 inches from the eave to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized.  Claudio Navarrete was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1783214, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 02-05-2025, with respect to a workplace located at 606 Sweetwater Circle, Maize KS 67101.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:(a) (LOCATION) (IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATION(S) AND/OR CONDITIONS)  At the temporary jobsite located at 4818 N Saker, Wichita, KS 67219, Employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of 11 feet in that the ladder used to access and egress the roof was not extended three feet above the eave or was not secured to the structure.  Claudio Navarrete was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1783214, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 02-05-2025, with respect to a workplace located at 606 Sweetwater Circle, Maize KS 67101.
