29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) 551 Old Swede Rd, Douglassville, PA 19518 - Leech Room: On or about January 15, 2026, employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials including, but not limited to, hydrochloric acid and suitable facilities for the quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided.  Two, 32 fluid once eyewash bottles were present on the wall in the Leech Room next to a sink, however, the eyewash bottles and sink would not have been capable of delivering a minimum of 1.5 liters per minute (0.4 gallons per minute) of flushing fluids, as described in ANSI Z358.1.  b) 551 Old Swede Rd, Douglassville, PA 19518 - Leech Room: On or about January 15, 2026, employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials including, but not limited to, hydrochloric acid and suitable facilities for the quick drenching or flushing of the body was not provided.   Two, 32 fluid once eyewash bottles were present on the wall in the Leech Room next to a sink, however, the eyewash bottles and sink would not have been capable of delivering a minimum of 75.7 liters per minute (20 gallons per minute) of flushing fluids, as described in ANSI Z358.1.

The employer did not prepare a written workplace PPE hazard assessment that outlined the hazards present which necessitated the use of the PPE.
