OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: On or about January 16, 2026, in the storage sheet rack area employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while continuously walking the aisles, storing product in adjacent to, and using material handling equipment near damaged racks with bent support arms and other damage, such as storage rack section 235-04 which had a bent support arm and continued to be used to store bundles of sheet metal. The Samuel Son & Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1802370, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 17, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 5022 Ashley Court, Houston, TX 77041.
