29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(viii): An aerial lift truck shall not be moved when the boom is elevated in a working position with men in the basket, except for equipment which is specifically designed for this type of operation in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs (a)(1) and (2) of this section. On or about February 5, 2026, employees operated a telescopic forklift that was extended and elevated, with an employee standing on it while performing framing work on a residential home.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about February 5, 2026, employees utilized a multipurpose ladder that was not extended at least 3 feet above the edge of the roof while performing framing work on a residential home.
