29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: (a) On or about February 10, 2026, and at times prior, employees were exposed to inhalation hazards of respirable crystalline silica from accumulations of countertop dust containing respirable crystalline silica in walkways, corners, racking systems, shelves, table surfaces, and equipment throughout the facility.

29 CFR 1910.1053(d)(1): The employer did not assess the exposure of each employee who was or may reasonably be expected to be exposed to respirable crystalline silica at or above the action level in accordance with either the performance option in paragraph (d)(2) or the scheduled monitoring option in paragraph (d)(3) of this section: a) On or about February 10, 2026, and at times prior, the employer did not perform exposure assessment of each employee who may be reasonably exposed to respirable crystalline silica above the Action Level. Employees are cutting and polishing stone slab countertops. Employees operate a Saca Robo SawJet to cut slabs and also polish them using Barracuda and Ela polishing wheels. Stone City LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.1053(d)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1796141, citation number 2, Item number 2b, and was affirmed as a final order on March 24, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 1620 S. Abilene St. Unit G Aurora, CO 80012.
