29 CFR 1910.106(d)(3)(ii)(a): Metal cabinets construction. The bottom, top, door, and sides of cabinet shall be at least No. 18 gage sheet iron and double walled with 1 1/2 - inch air space. Joints shall be riveted, welded or made tight by some equally effective means. The door shall be provided with a three-point lock, and the door sill shall be raised at least 2 inches above the bottom of the cabinet.  On or about February 12, 2026, the employer did not ensure that flammable aerosol products were stored in a storage cabinet meeting the construction and fire?resistance requirements of 29 CFR 1910.106(d)(3)(ii)(a). Employees stored numerous flammable and combustible aerosol cans-including lubricants, cleaners, degreasers, and spray coatings-inside a non?fire?rated metal cabinet along with additional flammable liquids and materials. Employees were exposed to fire or explosion involving flammable aerosol cans, which could result in serious physical harm, including burns, blast injuries from exploding canisters, and rapid fire spread within the storage area.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage shall be separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour.  On or about February 12, 2026, the employer stored oxygen cylinders in the same storage area with propane and acetylene cylinders without the required 20-foot separation or a compliant noncombustible barrier, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, including an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employees can obtain and use the appropriate hazard information.  On or about February 12, 2026, the employer did not ensure each employee was adequately informed of the location and availability of safety data sheets required by the Hazard Communication Standard. The employer utilizes a phone service provided by INFOTRAC for access to Safety Data Sheets (SDSs); however, knowledge of this program was inconsistent between employees. Employees using hazardous chemicals were exposed to the hazard of delayed or ineffective access to SDSs, which contain critical information regarding chemical hazards, protective measures, safe handling procedures, and emergency response information.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
