29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. Shipping Room: On or about February 10, 2026, and at times prior, employees were exposed to caught in hazards from the rotating chuck of the unguarded Delta Homecraft drill press while drilling holes. b. Mechanic Room: On or about February 10, 2026, and at times prior, employees were exposed to caught in hazards from the rotating chuck of the unguarded Allen drill press while drilling holes. c. Cabinet Room: On or about February 10, 2026, and at times prior, employees were exposed to caught in hazards from the rotating chuck of the unguarded Tradesman drill press serial # 04326W0047 while drilling holes.
