29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   (a) 5407 Long Beach Blvd., Harvey Cedars, NJ 08008: Workers were exposed to struck-by hazards when using nail guns and circular saws without eye or face protection while installing framing and other related items on a new residential house being constructed. Violation was observed, on or about 03/26/2026.  The  Easy Work Contractors Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1863951, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/09/2026, with respect to a workplace located at 1213 Auburn Terrace, Manalapan NJ 07726.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a) 5407 Long Beach Blvd., Harvey Cedars, NJ 08008: Employees engaged in framing and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards, roughly 20 feet to the ground surface below, when walking on and working near unprotected edges of the third-floor level of a residential structure without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 03/26/2026.  The Easy Work Contractors Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1837793, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/19/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 32 John Vanzant Drive, Titusville, NJ 08560.  The Easy Work Contractors Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1848806, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/18/2026, with respect to a workplace located at 16 John Vanzant Drive, Titusville, NJ 08560.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)   (a) 5407 Long Beach Blvd., Harvey Cedars, NJ 08008: Workers were not utilizing fall protection and were exposed to fall hazards up to 20 feet to ground surface below when performing framing and other related activities. The exposed workers have not received fall protection training as specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii). Condition observed on or about 03/26/2026.  The Easy Work Contractors Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1848806, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/18/2026, with respect to a workplace located at 16 John Vanzant Drive, Titusville, NJ 08560.
