Final narrative
An employee was working at a client's commercial building and climbed through an attic opening to check a conduit. The attic had no stairs and a ladder was used through the opening. The attic opening was approximate 30" by 30". When he attempted to come back down the ladder, he slipped and fell 10 feet through the hole to the floor, breaking his left arm and two fingers and cutting his left hand. He was hospitalized.
