Final narrative
An employee was attempting to get an infeed belt to a chipper running again. He applied pressure to the belt with his foot so the belt would gain traction. At the same time, another employee was toggling the forward and reverse switch for the belt. The first employee's right foot then became caught between the conveyor belt and the end roll of the conveyor, breaking bones in the right foot and leg area. He was hospitalized.
