An employee had climbed onto the rebar lattice for one of the walls of a concrete foundation and was tying rebar together using lengths of wire. While transitioning from one location to another, the employee slipped and fell about 8 feet from the rebar lattice to the concrete foundation below resulting in a laceration to the head. The employee was wearing fall protection but it was not connected to an anchoring point at the time of the fall.
