At about 11:00 a.m. on February 8, 2024, an employee was repairing a cylinder on a shear/baler processing machine when the cylinder activated. The cylinder failed and forced a brass packing ring forward as a projectile striking the employee's lower right leg. The employee's right tibia and fibula were fractured and the employee was hospitalized.
