An employee was adjusting the dams that contain the adhesive between the rollers of a roll coater. As the employee kneeled to adjust the dam she slipped, and the two inward rotating rolls grabbed a finger on her left hand and pulled her into a nip point up to her shoulder. The employee suffered severe vascular and soft tissue damage and was hospitalized.
