An employee was applying liquid asphalt sealer with a handheld asphalt pour pot as a co-worker used a squeegee to evenly apply the liquid asphalt sealer to a roadway. The employee turned and tripped over the squeegee, causing her to fall backward and resulting in liquid asphalt getting in-between her long sleeves and gloves. The employee suffered burns to her left wrist and palm that required hospitalization.
