Employee 1 was operating the beveller and noticed that the machine was not working. They stopped the machine and entered the machine to address the issue. Employee 2, working on another machine, also noticed that the beveller was not working and went to assist. Employee 1 finished up, exited, and activated the machine. Employee 2, who remained in the machine, was pinned between a beveller and pipe at his upper legs/thighs, resulting in a severe laceration to the upper left thigh and internal bleeding to the left leg.
