A carcass was entering the transfer station process where it is was transferred from a shackle and secured to a trolley to continue down the rail for processing. An employee was approaching a carcass at the transfer station when the trolley dislodged from the carcass and the carcass fell to the ground and struck him. The employee sustained a fractured lower left leg.
