On April 21, 2025, an employee was working to change the rubber leveling feet on an 180-pound mixing silo scale. After the leveling feet were replaced, the employee was removing a wood cribbing block that was used to support the raised scale, when the scale slipped. The second finger on the employee's left hand was crushed between one of the leveling feet and the wood block, resulting in amputation.
