Final narrative
A student employee was moving a shipment of steel bar stock (approximately 3/4 by 3 by 10-12 ) in the stock room by himself. Shortly thereafter, another employee and two students heard a loud noise. They discovered the employee unconscious underneath a pile of bar stock weighing approximately 916 pounds. The student employee sustained skull fractures, brain swelling, a collapsed lung, and a spinal cord injury.
