On June 9, 2025, an employee had opened the door of railcar using a hopper bar to lubricate the mechanism and check the function of the door latch. After lubricating and checking the door, he went to turn the latch with the hopper bar to close the door. The hopper bar slipped out of place, causing him to lose his balance. He fell back, landing on the floor. He was hospitalized with a fractured and dislocated right ankle.
