An employee was using an overhead crane with a sheet lifter to move two stacks of carbon plates. They were standing in-between the two stacks as the sheet lifter lowered onto one of the stacks. The bundled material slipped out and the employee's right ankle was pinned against the other stack, resulting in a fractured leg and ankle that required hospitalization.
