Before the incident
Operator was attaching raffinate lime slurry hose on the fitting of blender after the hose was flushed with water for cleaning.
What happened
Operator attached raffinate lime slurry hose to fitting on blender and manually latched the cam lock levers on the fitting. Operator tapped the cam pock levers with a hammer to ensure they secured the hose in place. Small amount of water slurry struck operator on right check below safety glasses and into right eye.
