Before the incident
Employee was running steel parts through the blast machine on the conveyer.
What happened
Two employees were working together at the blast machine. They were placing parts onto the blast machine conveyer for the blasting process. When setting one of the parts onto the conveyer. EE # 1 grabbed the steel part from underneath with his right hand to control part. At that same moment EE # 2 released the part from the magnet which caused the part to smash EE # 1 right ring finger between the steel part and one of the rollers on the conveyer.
